New "slim" line external magnetic device Starting from May 2009, the “slim” external magnetic device (ref. SL1898) and slim cord tensioner (ref. SL1899) will be introduced as standard for all ScreenLine® cord-operated manual blinds. The new model, at no extra charge, is slimmer (only 18 mm thick), faster, has a larger application surface and an innovative centring base plate, and can be easily applied or removed following the procedure described in the attached label.

VENETIAN AND PLEATED BLIND SL20-22F

SL20-22Fis the new battery-operated motorised blind system manufactured by ScreenLine®. With this system, a venetian or pleated blind encapsulated within a 20/22-mm double glazing unit can be raised or lowered via a manual push-button control device that is magnetically attached to the window - with a radio-remote control option. The system operates with standard, long-life rechargeable batteries and is equipped with a cleverly designed battery charger, which makes the system particularly suitable for residential and commercial environments. The motor can also be powered autonomously and continuously, via a small external solar panel. Sunlight (solar energy) is used to recharge the battery automatically, which results in cost savings in terms of energy and time.

NEW VENETIAN BLIND WITH TILT-ONLY FUNCTION SL20-22B

The patented magnetic system SL20-22B is the new manual model for venetian blinds incorporated within 20/22-mm double glazing units for use as a tilt only function. The external magnetic device is located on the glass at the bottom of the unit. Motion is transmitted via two gears located in the top and bottom corner keys of the blind, which are connected to each other by means of a shaft that is completely concealed within the vertical spacer bar.
